We have a small family farm in Skippack Pa. where we grow a wide variety of vegetables, (including Asian and Korean), herbs, and flowers. We will also grow specialty vegetables if given adequate notice. We keep our own bees and usually have honey year round. We have home made jams, jellies, soups, soaps, and hand painted gourds. We adhere to naturally grown / organically grown practices and WE DO NOT USE CHEMICALS .
We are members of the Pennsylvania Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) and accept checks. Along with the farm stand at our home, we also participate in the Skippack Farmers Market, on Sundays from 10:00 till 2:00.
There are almost two million farms in the USA. About 80% of those are small farms, and a large percentage are family owned. More and more of these farmers are now selling their products directly to the public. They do this via CSA programs, Farmers' Markets, Food Coops, u-picks, farm stands, and other direct marketing channels.
